Restless
Nights
The image
was conjured up during a fitful night of sleep....the troubled
mind thrashing about in tandem with its restless body. The
realities of Willis-Ekbom Disease, otherwise known as Restless
Leg Syndrome.

River driftwood with earthen plaster (clay, sand, straw) and

Transculturation
The iconic
tipi form of the nomadic Great Plains Indians combined with
wattle and daub, a permanent method of wall construction dating
back to the Neolithic Period. Consisting of mud plaster pressed
into woven sticks, wattle and daub was used by a variety of
cultures and is still utilized today, indigenously and by
natural builders due to its very low embodied energy, low
costs, beauty, and ease.

Yin & Yang
The Yin Yang
symbol was a Chinese developement representing the celestial
phenomenon. It was later adapted as a way of describing seemingly
opposite or contrary forces that can be complementary and
interconnected in the natural world.
