"I started
a rather ambitious project last year of building a passive solar
strawbale house and starting an urban farm. Rusty Bowman from
Earthen Exposure has been an invaluable asset in bringing it
all together. His deep understanding of design, consturction
and natural building materials helped me get an amazing house
that is mostly heated and cooled by its basic design. We are
now moving into the farming phase of the project and once again
Rusty is proving his worth. He knows how to guide the creation
of a sustainable, low impact, low cost, edible organic landscape
done the permaculture way. I read the books, had an idea of
what I wanted to do, but the complexity of it all can be daunting.
Rusty's broad base of knowledge has eased the process by guiding
the way. I hope to have a lot more of his help with my little
urban farm as things continue to evolve". R Blurton,

"I
write this to recommend Rusty Bowman and his handyman services,
although “handyman” is not an adequate term to
cover the full range of skills, abilities, resourcefulness
and creativity that he’ll be able to apply to your project.
First, and most important, I have found Rusty to be a person
of integrity, fairness and honesty. I noticed right away how
he uses his own inner “fairness” math when he
compiles invoices. He doesn’t milk a project for every
minute he spends on your property. Instead, he charges you
a fair price for the project once it is completed and all
the aspects including unexpected issues are known and can
be factored in. When you work with him, you’ll understand
what I mean by this and be as well satisfied as I have been.
Secondly, yes, he offers handyman services, but that doesn’t
begin to describe his capabilities, as alluded to above. When
you work with him, be sure to explore the ways he may be able
to help you and be assured that he will tell you if there’s
something he feels he’s not qualified to do properly
or well. Third, Rusty brings creativity and artfulness to
your project. Turn him loose on design and you’ll be
amazed at the full spectrum of his inventive ideas and his
aesthetic sensibilities. Lastly, Rusty’s been a godsend
to me and my business—I have a somewhat large property
where I live and operate my business. Therefore, my needs
are varied. Rusty has helped me with projects large and small
and I intend to use him whenever possible." - Beverly
